Hours: Full-time (40 – 60 hours per week)

Wage: CAD$36 – $47 per hour (depending on experience and skills)
Vacation Pay: from 7.7%

Main Duties:
• Read & interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches for restoration projects
• Measure, cut, shape and assemble wood structures such as staircases, decks and balconies
• Cut and fit wood to make forms for concrete pours
• Order required materials including tools from suppliers, so as to ensure that restoration projects are securely and appropriately supplied
• Supervise and train other employees in restoration carpentry relating to the forming of concrete
• Any other job-related restoration carpentry tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the company’s foreman
Skills, Work Experience and other Requirements:
• At least 3 years of carpentry experience, of which at least 2 years should have been in restoration carpentry
• English language skills at a functional level (as determined by Restorex Contracting Ltd.)
• Willingness to travel to work sites around Ontario and change work sites at short notice, and willingness to work in various remote parts of Ontario for significant periods of time, in physically demanding and difficult conditions
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean criminal record
