Restoration Report
Restoration was initially undertaken by Rudy Schiller in Las Vegas in 2008. He had the engine, transmission, starter, generator, gas tank, radiator, brakes, tires, paint, interior all completed. Details of expenses and invoices available. It was not driven much to 2015.
Purchased in July 2015 from Atomic Motors in Henderson Nevada.
The car could not get registered in Alberta as it failed the out of province inspection.
The following list of repairs were completed since:
1. Replaced wiper motor with electric.
2. Refinished existing horns. Installed additional new horns.
3. Installed electric brake switch at the pedal.
4. Replaced entire front end suspension components.
5. Purchased 4-barrel intake manifold. Not installed
6. Replaced front and rear shocks.
7. Cleaned away minor surface rust and dirt from inside the wheel wells and applied two coats of black Trem Clad paint.
8. Prepped and painted much of the underside of the front end.
9. Prepped and painted front springs. Added new insulators.
10. Prepped and painted much of the underside of the read undercarriage.
11. Dark blue paint was professionally polished.
12. Cooling system was flushed and re-filled by Nelson Radiator.
13. New battery in September 2023.
14. Wheel alignment and Out of Province inspection by Murray Hyundai September 14, 2023.
The following items still need attention.
1. Speedometer
2. Gas Gauge
3. Oil Pressure Gage
4. Cracked Passenger Window
5. Interior carpet loose ends
6. Trunk Liner
7. Battery tie down
8. Heater is not connected.
9. Rubber mount electric fuel pump
10. Trim panels for front seats
11. Left Steering Knuckle Support needs to be replaced
Out of Province Inspection passed September 14, 2023. This report is available. Registered in Alberta September 18, 2023.
