Seeking a competent caregiver to help a lady with MS on Sundays from 7am-7am Monday morning.

This is a 24 hour shift with adequate downtime.
$240/shift

We have a fully furnished and dedicated break room with bed, dressers, desk and chair.

Caregiver needs to have phone on for the full shift when the client needs help.

Compensation is in accordance with Alberta employment standards for domestic employees working a 24 hour shift.

The care will be provided for a 66 year old quadriplegic woman with MS.

Duties Required:
-mobility transfers using sling and ceiling lift
-toileting
-meal prep
-feeding
-assistance with anything the client may need during the 24 hour shift
-repositioning in bed

There are 2 cats in the house.

When the clients needs are met, there is opportunity for long stretches of downtime.

Occasionally weekday shifts may also be available.

To be considered for this position, the following are mandatory:

-must show up on time for every scheduled shift.
If you lack the ability to do this, don’t apply.
-must be patient
-must have good attitude
-must be willing to learn
-must speak decent English so the client can communicated needs effectively
-must have some experience in caregiving
