Senior care is needed for an elderly woman in St. Albert. Individual is needed who is Kind, companionate, accountable and friendly.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will have a background in health care (Nursing or HCA), assist with daily activities, light housework, transportation and accompaniment to appointments. This role requires both professionalism and a caring, friendly presence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide regular companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming,
- Prepare meals
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed
- Maintain regular communication with the family
Experience:
- Previous experience in patient care, caregiving, or related field required (Health Care Aide)
- Familiarity with assisted living, or home care settings
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
Required Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must be fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Must be proficient with the use of apps, email use, phone calls, text messages etc.
- Must be comfortable with transporting clients to and from appointments
- Must be able to take direction and operate independently
- Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation of elderly. 1 million Liability on insurance
Pre-Employment Expectations once selected:

- First Aid Certification
- Health Care Aide Certification
