We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavation Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate excavation equipment safely while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment safely and effectively.
Perform trenching, grading, digging, backfilling, and site preparation work.
Read and follow site plans, grades, and project specifications.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Work closely with supervisors, labourers, and other equipment operators.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures.
Report equipment issues and site hazards promptly.

Qualifications:
Previous experience operating excavators and related heavy equipment.
Valid driver's licence.
Knowledge of construction site safety practices.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to read site plans and grade stakes is an asset.
Safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, Ground Disturbance, CSTS, WHMIS) are considered an asset.
