Position Summary
Poundmaker’s Lodge Treatment Centres is seeking a reliable Maintenance Person to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our facilities. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting, basic electrical).
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment.
• Maintain grounds including snow removal, landscaping, and exterior upkeep.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained and report potential hazards.
• Assist with room setups, furniture moving, and other facility needs.
Qualifications
• Experience in building or facility maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic repair and maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely use maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and outdoor work.
