Face Painting Services

Basic designs (on cheeks or hands): 2-3 minutes per face
More elaborate designs (full face): 3-6 minutes per face

Small design examples: cupcake, flower, heart, tree, ladybug, penguin, butterfly, bumble bee,
Full face design examples: cat, dog, puppy, turtle, snake, unicorn, tiger, batman, Spiderman, monkey.
Seasonal designs also available (ie. Christmas/Hanukah, Easter, Canada Day, Halloween, etc.)
Themed packages also available included with the cost of booking (ie. Superhero’s, Barbie, Harry Potter, Safari, Minions, Under the sea, Ballerina, sports, Dinosaurs, Extraterrestrial, etc.)

Water based non-comedogenic body paint (washable with just soap and water, doesn't stain clothing or skin); halal paints can be made available on request.

How to Book:

1. Email alex@craftycarrolll, get in touch with our team via Instagram DM’s (@craftcarrolll) or through our website’s CONTACT page (https://craftycarrolll.wixsite.com/crafty-carroll/contact) with the following information about your event:

your name
date/time of party
major intersection of party
amount of children attending
age range of children

2. Once we’ve confirmed an available date for your event, we will send over our contracts, terms of agreement and photo consent/release forms in addition to our invoice.
3. After you've approved your contract, you will be required to send a deposit via e-transfer.
4. Following this, you will receive an updated contract/invoice indicating deposit payment.
5. Time to get crafty!

FAQ

~ What types of events do you do?
We can serve for a variety of events including but not limited to birthday parties, fundraisers, school functions, corporate events and more! If you’re looking to book with us and your event is not listed here, kindly reach out and we can discuss further!

~ How old are your clients? How old are the youngest/oldest children?
We serve children as young as 2 years of age all the way through to adults!

~ How many kids can you serve per hour/per party?
On average, we have 2 types of design offerings. Our basic designs (on cheeks or hands) take around 2-3 minutes per child and our more elaborate designs (full face) take around 3-6 minutes per child.
Normally for 20 children, we recommend no less than 2 hours per event (3 hours to be safe). We will also prepare a list at the start of the event wherein we encourage everyone to write their name, in order for our clients to be able to enjoy the event and come back for their turn when it's time.


~ Do I need to tell you how many kids will be at my event?
If you’re able to provide this information during the booking process, we can work together to figure out how long you should book our services for. If not, an estimate is also helpful!

~ How long does the paint last for?
The paint can last for several hours after application; however, the paints are water based and will bleed if they come into contact with sweat/water. The paints easily come off with soap and water and wash out of clothing with regular detergent.

~ Do I need to come up with my own designs?
Nope! We offer a full catalogue of designs, varying from small cheek designs, to stencils, to full face designs!

~ What if my child wants a design that isn’t offered in your catalogue?
We’ll try our best to give everyone what they would like but we kindly ask that all of our clients try their best to choose from our offered designs/our catalogue in order to guarantee the best results and a quality face painted design!

~ How far ahead do I need to book my event?
Each event is booked on a first come, first serve basis. Weekend normally fill up quicker so the sooner you book, the more likely your date will be available!

~ Where are you located in Toronto and how far will you go for an event?
We are located in downtown Toronto; we will travel around the GTA for our events (this includes but is not limited to North York, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Scarborough, Vaughan, Pickering, Richmond Hill, etc.) If you would like to book with us and your location is in the GTA but is not listed here directly, kindly reach out and we can discuss further!

~ When and how do I pay?
A. We accept cash, check, e-transfer and PayPal. All methods of payments will be illustrated in the booking process contract and written in bold at the bottom of every contract and the timelines MUST be followed accordingly.
~ How early do you arrive to my event?
We will arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the event start time. We will only start charging on an hourly basis, from the event start time.

~ Do you need anything for your setup?
We require a table and chair (whether it’s a single table or a larger table split in half). If you’re unable to provide a table, please let us know in advance of the event so that we’re able to properly supply the required materials/setup for the event. Otherwise, all materials will be brought to site. Some additional water may also be requested on site for the paints/brushes.

~ What types of paints do you use?
Our paints are all water based and non-comedogenic which have been labeled safe for sensitive skin and for children. Halal paints can also be made available on request.

~ How old are your clients? How old are the youngest/oldest children?
We serve children as young as 2 years of age all the way through to adults!

~ My child has sensitive skin and I’m worried they might have a reaction, what types of paints do you use?
Our paints are all water based and non-comedogenic which have been labeled safe for sensitive skin and for children. Halal paints can also be made available on request. Prior to each event, all tools are properly sterilized with alcohol and cleaned with a soap cleanser and water. We make a concerted effort to disinfect and clean our brushes/tools with alcohol/wipes between each of our clients of a particular event. We also make a concerted effort into using disposable materials for touch-ups as often as we are able to for hygienic reasons (ie. q-tips, disposable sponges, cotton rounds, etc.). That being said, it’s at every client’s discretion to use our services at their own risk. More on this will be outlined in our contract/terms of agreement.

~ How do I book my event?
We kindly ask that you get in touch with our team via email, Instagram DM’s or through our website’s CONTACT page with the following information about your event:
Your name, date/time of party, major intersection of party, amount of guests/children attending, age range (of children).
Once we’ve confirmed an available date for your event, we will send over our contracts, terms of agreement and photo consent/release forms in addition to our invoice. ~ Do I need to make a deposit?
Yes, upon booking there will be a deposit of $50.

~ Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, our cancellation policy is to provide 48 hours notice prior to event start time for no cancellation charge. If the policy is broken, you will forfeit the $50.00 deposit. Due to some extenuating circumstances, the event may be rescheduled and an agreement can be reached between our team and the client; however, the deposit will remain non-refundable.
