Part-Time | Cha Da Cup Mobile Chai Bar

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Barista to join our Mobile Chai Bar team. We specialize in serving handcrafted chai and specialty beverages at private events, weddings, and corporate functions across the GTA.

This is a part-time, event-based role with flexible, on-call scheduling depending on bookings. Every event is unique, and the focus is on delivering a warm, high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
• Set up and pack down mobile chai bar equipment at event locations
• Prepare and serve chai and other beverages with consistency and care
• Take and manage guest orders in a professional and friendly manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar setup throughout service
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist with basic prep and service tasks as required
• Handle equipment and supplies safely (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs)

Presentation & Professionalism
• Must be well-groomed and presentable for upscale event environments
• Required to wear formal all-black attire suitable for weddings and private events
• Professional, calm, and guest-focused at all times

Requirements & Experience
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, cafe, or barista work is an asset
• Strong attention to detail is essential
• Comfortable working in fast-paced event environments
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently and in a team
• Training will be provided for chai preparation and service standards
• Valid G driver’s license is an asset (experience with larger vehicles is a plus)
• Own vehicle is an advantage for travel between event locations

Additional Information
• Interviews conducted via video call
• Start date: July 1st
• Must be comfortable traveling to events throughout the GTA
• Shifts vary depending on event bookings (days, evenings, and weekends)

Schedule
• 8-hour shifts (event dependent)
• Day and evening availability required
• Weekends and on-call availability required
