Companion Caregiver Services June 2026

Part-time Permanent Companion Caregiver required to assist a pleasant, positive and engaging senior in regular daily activities.

Seeking a mature female with caregiving experience, the ideal candidate possesses the ability to demonstrate patients and compassion, they demonstrate situational awareness and they will be an advocate for the client. Enjoys activities like cross word puzzles, visiting and demonstrates good communication skills both verbal and written.

Experience working with clients in wheelchair with limited mobility and a well rounded skill set in personal care and companionship would be an asset. This position requires employee to be reliable, punctual and maintain confidentiality.

Hours: 9 to 12 hrs per week, more hours if wanted, in the event of planned outings.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Seeing that client is comfortable, minor grooming, minor housekeeping, assist with meal, companionship, report on client’s activities and concerns, check supplies for replenishing. Also water plants, update whiteboard calendar.
A detailed list of duties will be provided to potential candidates.

No, cooking, cleaning, dressing, bathing or toileting required in this position.

Criminal Record Check may be required.
Good command if the English language required, due to some client hearing loss.

3 months probationary period.
Start date; immediately.
Salary; competitive, depending on skill set.
