Beautiful, approximately 15-year-old Belgian gelding available for sale. Mick is an absolute sweetheart and a true gentle giant. Standing around 18 hands, he is a large guy who is great for anyone to ride.
Mick has driven both single and double, and has been used to help train young horses to pull. For the past year or so, Mick has transitioned from a pulling horse to a riding horse. He has been ridden at the walk, trot, and canter, and is definitely more "whoa" than "go." Mick has been part of parades and is excellent on roads and trails. He is good to go out by himself or with a group.
Mick does not require any supplements or medications for maintenance. He stands wonderfully for the vet and the farrier, and has been trimmed both free-standing and in stocks. He wore shoes when doing heavy pulling work, but he is currently barefoot and doing well. Mick is excellent to bathe, ties quietly, and loads easily into the trailer. Mick is currently on outdoor board. But will happily stay in a stall.
Mick is currently up to date on his feet and all vaccines (4-way rabies).
