Toronto, Ontario | Independent Contractor | Short-Term Pilot Campaign

PostPlate is seeking motivated independent contractors to help introduce Toronto restaurants to a fixed-price UGC content service designed for the local food industry. This is a short-term, flexible outreach opportunity for individuals comfortable approaching business owners and conducting in-person introductions.

Contractors are not responsible for selling, pricing, or closing — the focus is simple: introduce the service, hand out information, and book interested restaurants in for a free consultation. PostPlate's team handles everything from there.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prospect independent restaurants throughout Toronto
• Focus on restaurants located along TTC subway, streetcar, and major transit corridors
• Introduce PostPlate's service offering to restaurant owners and managers
• Communicate pricing and service details accurately
• Hand out digital flyers and promotional materials to restaurants
• Book interested restaurants in for a free consultation on PostPlate's services
• Collect and submit consultation requests and relevant restaurant information

The contractor's role is complete once a restaurant has been introduced and booked for a consultation. PostPlate's team manages the consultation, sale, and onboarding from that point forward.

COMPENSATION:
• Contractors earn between $50 CAD and $100 CAD for each restaurant they introduce to PostPlate that goes on to purchase a PostPlate service
• Compensation is performance-based and tied to PostPlate's standard contractor attribution rules
• Payment is issued upon receipt of a valid invoice
• Earnings are not guaranteed and will vary based on outreach activity and restaurant conversion

IMPORTANT:
• This is an independent contractor opportunity, not employment
• Contractors determine their own schedules, routes, and outreach methods
• Contractors are not managed on hours or daily activity
• Contractors do not sell services, negotiate pricing, close deals, collect payments, or make commitments on behalf of PostPlate
• Contractors may only share approved information about PostPlate's services
• Compensation is governed by the terms of PostPlate's Independent Contractor Agreement, including attribution and payment terms.

IDEAL CANDIDATES:
• Comfortable speaking with restaurant owners and managers
• Confident approaching businesses in person
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales, canvassing, hospitality, customer service, fundraising, or marketing experience is an asset but not required
