Health dictates I have to sell my '84 GMC C2500 High Sierra, Camper Special Truck. Only has 143500kms on it. It started out as a very solid truck. Saying that I replaced both inner and outer fenders and rad cradle.
The inner and outer rockers and cab corners show no rust. The under body does have a little surface rust but no rot. The Box cross braces are also rust free as is the bed and sides. Tailgate is also free of rust.
I metal repaired all 4 corners of rear wheel wells. Both lower bed sides were also repaired. Finnish work was started on those areas. The top of the drivers side rocker was patched. See pictures.
Mechanical work done includes, New starter, Plugs, Master Cylinder, Complete bake system replacement except for discs and drums, Ebrake system was replaced. Has new upper control arms with ball joints replaced on both sides. All belts and hoses are new.
Right gas tank leeks, but left tank was flushed and is good to go with a new fuel pump.
It is powered but a 350, and turbo 400 trans. have filter and pan gasket for it.
The interior is complete and has dash cracks, and the bench seat is worn (I have a cover for it). I have most parts to complete as well as a 83 Chev 1/2 ton for parts.
There are four aluminum rims with 2 new tires mounted and two good used tires mounted.
The body work seen on the pas. door was caused when I over heated the panel while welding some patches where I cut out two rust blisters, (A rookie mistake)
The GMC will run drive and stop. but will need a trailer to transport.
