Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time; Part Time; Day/Evenings, Overnight



Start Date: As soon as possible



Education: Some high school



Experience: Experience an asset but not required. Will train.



Job Tasks: Take customer’s orders; Prepare, heat and serve food items; Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foods; Portion and wrap foods; Stock refrigerators and salad bars; Clean, mop floors & counter-tops; Basic cleaning; Keep records of the quantities of food used; Use cash register, oven and bread proofer to bake bread;



Kitchen Helping Skills: Season, proof and bake bread; Cut vegetables; Portion meats; Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances; Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas; Remove kitchen garbage and trash; Handle and store cleaning products; Sweep and mop floors;



Weight Handling: Lift up to 25 lbs



Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available



Essential Skills: Speak English, Read English, Basic math, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing.
