Description
This is a 3 level oak (painted white) antique barrister bookcase made by Danner (Ohio) at the turn of the century. It is very well built with solid quarter sawn / tiger oak. It comes apart in 5 sections, including the top and base. There are no windows. It measure 34” wide, 11” deep and 43” tall. Some of the white paint has been stripped (see pictures) to show the beautiful tiger oak underneath the paint…. It is an easy strip for someone motivated (we can show you some short cuts to stripping it) to return it to its original oak finish, or it can be repainted if desired.

We are offering this bookcase at a price intended to find a good home and home project for someone who wants an antique barrister bookcase at a low price and willing to do some work to bring it back to its original roots.

We are in Freelton south of Guelph and north of Waterdown. Ed and Linda. (Precious Antiques and Restorations). 905-659-5766 which is a land line so no testing will work.
