​The Waterloo Siskins are officially seeking welcoming, supportive billet host families for the upcoming hockey season. Every year, dedicated young men travel to our region to pursue their hockey dreams. Providing them with a safe, stable, and comfortable "home away from home" is vital to their success both on the ice and in our community.

​### What is a Billet Family?
​A billet family welcomes a Siskins player into their home for the duration of the hockey season. You become their surrogate family, providing a supportive environment during a crucial developmental stage of their career and lives. Many of our past hosts have built lifelong bonds with their players that extend long after their junior hockey days are over.

​### What We Look For in a Host Home:
​A private, clean bedroom for the player (furnished with a bed, desk/workspace, and closet space).
​Access to internet/Wi-Fi and laundry facilities.
​Nutritious meals and snacks to fuel an elite athlete's schedule.
​A supportive, positive household environment that respects team rules and guidelines.

​### What the Team Provides:
​A monthly monetary stipend to assist with grocery and household expenses.
​Season tickets to Waterloo Siskins home games.
​Ongoing communication and full support from the Siskins Hockey Operations staff to ensure a seamless fit for both your family and the player.
