Dairy Farm Worker

Location: Ashcroft, BC
Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dairy Farm Worker to join our team on a progressive dairy farm. This position involves working with dairy cattle and assisting with the daily operation and maintenance of the farm.

Responsibilities

* Milking cows and assisting with milking procedures
* Monitoring animal health and providing daily animal care
* Feeding and watering livestock
* Cleaning and maintaining barns, milking equipment, and farm facilities
* Bedding stalls and maintaining a clean environment for animals
* Assisting with herd movement and handling cattle safely
* Operating farm equipment and machinery (training provided as needed)
* General farm maintenance, repairs, and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Previous dairy farm or livestock experience
* Comfortable working around large animals
* Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions
* Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and follow farm safety and animal welfare practices
* Valid driver’s license
