Alice Dalton Brown was known for her realistic works that captured the light and texture of specific places and
moments. Her signature motifs included exteriors of Victorian houses, barns, and waterscapes viewed through windows or sheer curtains, exploring the play of light, shadow, reflection, and geometry across various surfaces. Dalton Brown (1939 – 2015) studied art in Paris, Grenoble, and America. She exhibited her oil paintings all over the world and her works form part of both corporate and private collections in America, Europe, and beyond. Her art prints and posters create a real focal point with their scale and almost photographic detail.
