Rehoming of my late brother's dog
Description
It is with a heavy heart that we are looking for a new home for my late brother's dog “Baby” following his passing, just over 3 weeks ago. Baby is confused and missing her person, so she is acting out for my 80 year old mother.
She is a spayed 5 year old female Pitbull who has been deeply loved and spoiled her entire life. Unfortunately, my 80-year-old mother is no longer able to handle her, and we need to find the right person or couple who can give her the time, structure, and care she needs.
She would do best in a home with no children and no other dogs, (we do not know this for a fact as we haven’t spent much time with her), we are just going off what my sometimes-senile mother is saying. The time I did spend with her, she was a sweet girl, she just wanted love and affection. Yes, she does jump up and lick excessively, but I think with the right training she would be able to stop this. My brother did not provide consistent training, and she would benefit from an experienced owner who is willing to provide discipline, guidance, and continued training.
We truly believe that with patience, consistency, and the right environment, she can be a wonderful companion. This is not an easy decision for our family, and we want to ensure she finds a safe, loving, forever home.
If you feel you or someone you know would be the right fit, please reach out to my sister Winona at 250-783-0895. Baby is located in Moberly Lake BC.
Thank you.
