Habermehl Contracting Limited is looking for a motivated and organized Construction Manager Assistant & Estimating (CMA) to join our growing team.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction management, project coordination, and estimating. Working directly with our Production Manager, Project Managers, and Project Development Team, you will play a key role in supporting active construction projects from pre-construction through project completion.

What You'll Do
Project Coordination
Support Project Managers with day-to-day project administration.
Coordinate client selections and project documentation.
Assist in maintaining project schedules and critical task tracking.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and scheduling.
Serve as a backup to Project Managers when required.
Permits, Inspections & Documentation
Coordinate permits and inspections with municipalities and consultants.
Maintain project files and documentation in BuilderTrend and company systems.
Track project communications, approvals, and change orders.
Assist with project start-up and close-out processes.
Ensure weekly project updates are maintained.
Estimating & Change Orders
Prepare estimates for project change orders.
Create and track change orders throughout construction.
Assist the Project Development Team with project estimates during the design phase.
Support scope reviews and pricing analysis.
Financial & Administrative Support
Assist with progressive billing and project invoicing.
Support project budget tracking and reporting.
Help prepare allowance adjustment reports and project financial summaries.
Coordinate labour planning and site service requirements.
Qualifications
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction, administration, estimating, project coordination, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Valid driver's license.
Preferred
Experience in residential or commercial construction.
Experience with BuilderTrend or similar construction management software.
Basic understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
Estimating experience is considered a strong asset.
Construction-related education or training.
