Toronto Generators Inc is looking to hire a reliable and hardworking Labourer / Installation Assistant to join our growing team. We specialize in Generac generator installation, maintenance, and repair throughout the GTA to Muskoka & The Blue Mountains regions.
This is a hands-on, outdoor-based role suited for someone with construction experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering, loading, and placing generators across the GTA to Muskoka and The Blue Mountains
Assisting technicians with generator installations and service work
Operating trenching machines and other small construction equipment
Operating a forklift (if certified)
Digging trenches and performing light landscaping work
Interacting with customers and coworkers in a professional, helpful, and positive manner
Ensuring safe handling and movement of heavy equipment
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
General labour duties and any additional tasks as required
Requirements:
Valid G driver’s licence (required for insurance purposes)
Clean driving abstract
Ability to safely lift and move 50 lbs
Safety Boots and work pants
Experience operating or willingness to learn:
Trenching machines & Forklift equipment
Construction or general labour experience preferred
Full-time availability (daytime hours with flexibility for longer or shorter days)
Reliable transportation to and from dispatch office
Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
Positive attitude and willingness to take direction and learn
