Dental Receptionist
Description
Office in Gerrard Square Mall currently looking for a Full-time/Part Time Permanent Dental Receptionist. Experience in the dental field is a bonus but NOT required (training will be provided on-site). All that is needed is a good work ethic and be willing to learn. Work environment is very friendly
Hours of operation are:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30-6
Thursday 9:30-7
And Saturday 8:30-5
We are open 6 days a week but the role does not require a 6 day work week. Availability on Saturdays are mandatory for this position (but not required to work every Saturday).
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a friendly demeanor.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using computer software and office equipment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining patient records and handling financial transactions.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
Fluency in English is a must. Cantonese/Mandarin an asset
Your primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls, and schedule appointments with professionalism and courtesy.
Appointment Management: Efficiently schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing the appointment book to ensure a well-organized daily schedule.
Billing and Payments: Collect and process payments from patients, submit insurance claims electronically, and assist with financial inquiries.
Insurance Coordination: Interact with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and assist in resolving any insurance-related issues.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental professionals and support staff to ensure seamless patient care and a positive overall experience.
Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all applicable dental and healthcare regulations, including patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
