Gardener & Pool Maintenance Worker (Part-Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Gardener & Pool Maintenance Worker to maintain the landscaping, gardens, and swimming pool of a private residential property. The successful candidate will ensure that all outdoor areas remain clean, safe, attractive, and well-maintained throughout the year. Call Nav at 905-846-2495.
$18/hour- Flexible schedule of 2–3 days per week.

Responsibilities
Garden & Landscape Maintenance
Plant, water, weed, and maintain flower beds and gardens.
Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges.
Apply fertilizer, mulch, and soil amendments as required.
Remove leaves, weeds, branches, and garden debris.
Monitor plant health and address pest or disease issues.
Maintain walkways, patios, and outdoor living areas.
Operate and maintain gardening and landscaping equipment.
Assist with seasonal planting and landscaping projects.
Swimming Pool Maintenance
Clean the swimming pool, including skimming debris and vacuuming.
Monitor and maintain proper water chemistry levels.
Test and adjust chlorine, pH, and other pool chemicals as required.
Clean pool filters, pumps, baskets, and surrounding deck areas.
Inspect pool equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Ensure the pool area remains clean, safe, and presentable.
Qualifications
Experience in gardening, landscaping, and/or pool maintenance.
Knowledge of lawn care, plants, and basic pool chemistry.
Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and pool maintenance tools.
Physically capable of performing outdoor work and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
Valid driver's license is an asset.
Compensation
Competitive hourly wage $18/hour.
Flexible schedule of 2–3 days per week.
