Personal Care Worker Needed – Cancer Patient Support
Description
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Personal Care Worker (PCW) to provide in-home support for a cancer patient in Milton, Ontario.
Responsibilities:
Assist with mobility and safe movement around the home.
Help with transfers and trips to the washroom.
Assist with medication reminders and monitoring.
Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with personal care and daily living activities as required.
Ensure the patient’s comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW), Personal Care Worker (PCW), or caregiver is preferred.
Must have a clean criminal record check.
Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and dependable.
Physically able to assist with mobility and transfers.
Flexible and available to work assigned hours during weekdays, evenings, weekends, and additional hours as required.
First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
References may be requested.
Location: Milton, Ontario
Compensation: Minimum wage, paid in cash, with hours based on the patient’s needs and caregiver availability.
