Position – Survey Manager
Job type - Full-time (1 Position)
Location – In Person – Coaldale, Alberta
Schedule – 5 days a week/10-hour shift (Overtime after 8 Hours)
Wage – $35.00-$43.00 an hours/wage based on experience
Benefits – will be discussed with the successful candidates in the interview process

Dennis’ Dirtworx Ltd. is seeking an experienced individual to join our team of dedicated professionals as a Survey Manager. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our construction projects, thereby contributing to their overall success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise survey crews in the field
- Plan, coordinate, and execute survey work for construction, engineering, or civil/agricultural land development projects
- Ensure all survey data is accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule
- Interpret project drawings, specifications, and control data
- Operate and oversee the use of survey equipment (GPS, total stations, levels, drones where applicable)
- Review and verify survey calculations, layouts, and reports
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to support construction activities
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
- Troubleshoot survey discrepancies and resolve field issues efficiently
- AutoCad Civil 3D knowledge/usage
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field an asset
- Minimum 5 years of construction surveying experience
- Proven experience leading or supervising survey crews on construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and tolerances
- Clean Class 5 Licence – Abstract to be obtained and submitted by applicant
• Ability to work extended/weekend hours when required
