About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically capable individual to join our team as a Vending Machine Repair & Rebuild Technician. This is a hands-on position that involves diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, delivering, and setting up vending machines while providing customer training and support.
Previous vending machine experience is considered an asset but is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate who possesses strong technical aptitude, excellent computer skills, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and rebuild vending machines and related equipment
Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
Install, configure, and test vending machines and payment systems
Deliver vending machines to customer locations using a company pickup truck
Set up equipment and ensure proper operation before customer handoff
Train customers on machine operation, basic troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Work independently to prioritize tasks and complete assignments efficiently
Provide professional customer service during installations and service calls
Qualifications
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
Excellent computer skills and comfort working with software, mobile apps, and connected devices
Ability to read and understand technical manuals and troubleshooting guides
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Comfortable driving a pickup truck and transporting equipment
Ability to lift and move vending machines and related equipment with appropriate tools and assistance
Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience repairing vending machines, kiosks, point-of-sale systems, or similar equipment
Electrical, mechanical, or electronics troubleshooting experience
Experience with cashless payment systems, networking, or technology-based equipment
Forklift or equipment-moving experience (an asset)
