We are a Certified Organic Farm growing 40 different types of fruits and veggies with over 100 different varieties altogether. We are located just next to the City of Saskatoon just off Lorne Ave.

Our Farm YXE is looking for a field hand to work with us in the 2026 Season starting immediately until early October. The basic categories of work are planting, seeding, transplanting, cultivating, weeding, spreading compost, harvesting, vegetable washing, bundling and packaging and also selling at Our Farm Market. Almost all of the work is done by hand or with hand tools. Work week and hours would be Tuesday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturdays 6:30 am to 12:30 pm with Sunday and Monday off. Pay is $19.00 / hour and you get a 50% discount on purchasing veggies for your own use.

The person we are looking for should be responsible and be able to follow directions, be thorough and have the physical ability and desire to work fast. Those who can balance thoroughness with speed, and who work thoughtfully and with pride, are the happiest here. If you are a slow worker, tardy, careless or not fully committed, you would not be a good fit for this position. If you are willing to work outside in all weather conditions, enjoy physical labour and repetitive tasks, this could be a good fit for you.

The work is physically very hard. However, we get the joy of working outdoors, growing tasty, healthy certified organic food. You will learn a lot about gardening and food in general.
