Job Title: Chef – Specialized Middle Eastern Cuisine

Hours per Week: 40 hours
Wage: $36.00 – $42.00 per hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise the preparation and cooking of Middle Eastern and Turkish specialty dishes.
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including pide, manakish, lahmacun, shawarma, doner, kebabs, yufka, lokma, and other traditional dishes using specialized imported equipment.
Develop recipes, ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.
Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate cooking activities.
Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies, including specialized ingredients and equipment parts.
Work with imported Turkish and Middle Eastern kitchen equipment for optimal results.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef specializing in Middle Eastern/Turkish cuisine.
Strong knowledge of Middle Eastern cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and lead kitchen operations.
Proficiency in Turkish is an asset for recipe development and client communication.
This position is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and individuals with valid work authorization. Qualified Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.
