Fruit Farm Laborer on Apple Farm: 12 vacancies September 17 to October 30, 2026. $16.75 per hour. Seasonal employment - full time, 30 to 70 hours per week including early morning, morning, day, evening, weekends.

Work must be done at physical location - no option for remote work. Public transportation is not available.

Work Site Environment is outdoors in all weather conditions, wet/damp, hot, dusty, at heights, tree and orchard fruit.

Responsibilities/Tasks include examine product for quality and its readiness for the market, hand pick apple crop using stem clippers and ladders, divide fruit into marketable and non-marketable lots, grade fruit into different grades according to size, shape and color. Other tasks include operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, train trees to produce more fruit, fertilize and spray crops , clear and collect brush, rocks and debris from fields, guide growing shoots into optimal development positions, remove manually all suckers and water spouts, tie and secure plants, weeding, fertilize and spray crops, clean work area, general farm duties.

Work conditions/physical capabilities: ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, tight deadlines, physically demanding, manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, bending, combinations of crouching, kneeling, walking. Weight handling: up to 50 lbs.
