Position: Lead Carpenter (Rough Carpentry/Framing and Finished Carpentry)

Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Wage: $36/hour

Start Date: Immediately / As soon as possible

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team as a key field leader for our crews. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for leading small crews on residential and light commercial projects. The ideal candidate is a well experienced carpenter with a broad skill set who can guide teams, ensure safety compliance, maintain high-quality standards across all assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

-Ability to carry a project from start to finish without supervision
-Being able to read blueprints/design plans, drawings, and sketches
-Effectively communicate with crew and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
-Lead and supervise carpentry crews on site
-Perform and oversee framing, laying sub flooring, finished carpentry, and interior/exterior work
-Ensure high-quality finishing standards
-Maintain safety protocols and project timelines


Requirements:

-Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in carpentry
-Demonstrable expertise in finishing carpentry
-Full G Driver’s License with a clean driving record
-Own reliable vehicle (van or truck preferred)
-Own tools required
-Ability to work independently and lead a small team
-Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
-Greek language is not required, but highly preferred (ability to communicate effectively in Greek with team members and clients is a strong asset as many of our clients are Greek speakers).
