Historica is looking for a skilled tradesperson to join our maintenance and development team!

Position Description:

You will report to and work with our Maintenance Supervisor daily. You will be responsible for addressing tenant maintenance requests. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm. The occasional evening and weekend may also be required to meet deadlines.

Skills Required:
• Effective communication skills
• Listens and takes direction well
• Attention to detail
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and maintenance
• Working knowledge and experience operating tools and equipment
• Strong hands-on skills
• The ability to work well independently and with others
• The ability to solve problems
• Heavy lifting of more than 50lbs may be required in some cases

The main responsibilities for this position will be:
• General, preventative, and corrective maintenance
• Repairs, carpentry, crack filling, drywall, painting, and the like
• Working with a team to update residential and commercial spaces
• Installation of appliances
