Eagle Nest Lodge is looking for a reliable, mechanically inclined “jack-of-all-trades” to join our team.

This is a live-in position at a remote seasonal fishing lodge.
The ideal person is practical, self-sufficient, calm under pressure, and capable of troubleshooting and repairing a wide variety of equipment and systems as issues arise.

Responsibilities
General building maintenance and repairs
Maintaining and troubleshooting:
Diesel Generator
Water pumps and waterline systems
Propane appliances
Hot tub
Small electrical repairs (lights, switches, basic wiring)

Repairing and maintaining equipment such as:
Lawn mowers
Weed whackers
Boat motors
Small engines and tools
Responding quickly when equipment breaks down
Preventative maintenance and keeping systems operational
Assisting with seasonal opening/closing tasks
Keeping maintenance areas organized and stocked

Ideal Candidate:
Strong mechanical aptitude
Experience with generators, plumbing, electrical, or small engines
Comfortable living and working remotely
Able to work independently without constant supervision
Problem solver with a positive attitude
Physically capable of lifting, carrying, and working outdoors
Experience in camps, lodges, farming, marine, or remote operations is an asset
