Looking for someone to take over my room in our renovated 4½ in the Plateau. I'm open to a full lease transfer (the lease runs until May 1, 2027) or a sublet of at least 3 months. Rent starts June 1, 2026, and you're welcome to drop off belongings any time from May 25.

The apartment is fully renovated — open kitchen and living room, hardwood floors, big bright windows, and a full appliance set: fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, plus in-unit washer and dryer. The common areas are furnished and equipped; the room itself is the larger of the two bedrooms and is unfurnished, with a window that gets good natural light.

Location: 3993 Drolet, between Duluth and Marie-Anne, in the heart of the Plateau. About a 7 minute walk to Mont-Royal metro (Orange line) and 10 minutes to Sherbrooke metro. Mont-Royal Ave and Saint-Denis, with all their cafes, groceries and restaurants, are a couple of blocks away. Easy commute to McGill, Concordia, UdeM and Mila.

Your roommate would be Omar, a PhD student in Computer Science at Concordia — clean, quiet and easy to share a place with.

Rent is $787.50/month for your half. Heating, hot water and electricity are all included; internet is extra (around $20-30/month per person). Quebec law requires lease transfers to be free of charge, so the price is exactly what's on the current lease — no markup or extra fees.
