Vintage 1948 Dragon class 29' 4" sailboat, with fiberglass over mahogany. Two full sets of sails, 10 sails total, including Genoa and Spinnaker, with a Spinnaker pole.

These Dragon boats (see photo) were designed by Johan Anker and used in the Olympics. There are only a few in Canada now and very much a collector's item.

The wooden mast needs repair, and the keel bolts will need to be replaced. The cabin and deck should be repaired, so work needs to be done on it, and priced accordingly.

In good to excellent condition, these routinely sell for $10,000 to $30,000, and new ones for over 100,000 Euros in the UK.

Comes with extra-long trailer, dual axles, good tires, and long tongue. It is U-built without a title, but that is not hard to obtain from ICBC.

The trailer needs brake lights installed or fixed, but they are intact on the trailer, which is extra heavy-duty and has adjustable mounts for this boat and keel. It has an outboard motor bracket, with a mahogany cabin which will need restoration.

The beam is 6 ft. 5 inches, and the boat was recently on Lake Okanagan a few years ago, on the trailer since then. It is $3,950 Canadian, or best offer.
