There are more expensive carbon fiber wheelchairs on the market that weigh 39 lbs. but only because they have smaller wheels and smaller motors that are not ideal when you ride outdoors. Our bigger motors on the identical JBH DC10 carbon fiber wheelchair adds 12 lbs. for a total of 51 lbs. but the superior outdoor performance we think is worth it. Same chair, rides better outdoors, and at a much lower price because we are the importer.
