Smart Route Logistics Ltd. is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our growing freight brokerage team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business, building relationships with shippers, and coordinating trucking loads across North America.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new customers needing freight transportation services
• Sell trucking and logistics solutions (FTL loads) to shippers and manufacturers
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers
• Negotiate rates with shippers and trucking carriers
• Manage freight bookings from pickup to delivery
• Use load boards, CRM systems, and dispatch tools to source and manage freight
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and revenue targets
Requirements
• Experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation sales
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment
• Familiarity with load boards (DAT, Loadlink etc.)
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset
