This well kept, well maintained 1968 Ford Mustang Hardtop is powered by its original 289 cubic inch V8 (2-barrel carburetor) producing 195 horsepower. Built in November 1967 at the Metuchen, New Jersey plant, it retains its original frame, chassis, suspension, and powertrain components.

The car carries a meaningful ownership history. The first owner is a relative, a young Toronto Hydro engineer, purchased it in January 1973 after saving $3,000 for his dream car. It remained garage-kept and carefully maintained, later passing to his trusted mechanic, and has now returned to the family.

This Mustang has never been in an accident and underwent a ground-up restoration in the 1990s. The underside body floor pans and frame components have been protected with undercoating. While the front floor pans were previously repaired due to corrosion, they remain solid.

The black vinyl roof and interior are in excellent condition. Minor aging is visible on the driver-side A-pillar trim adhesive. Overall, this is an honest, well-preserved Mustang with strong provenance, ready for its next passionate owner.
