I am a homeless veteran who is currently living in a motel right now. I was evicted from Veterans House because I was sick of the mismanagement and treatment of the veteran tenants by the warden of Veterans Hosue. The staff does not care about the residents. They obly care about $$$. They use the residents to milk donors for donations. Veterans House prison is out of control. There is daily harrassment, threats, assaults, mismanagement, discrimination, etc...

There have been 13 deaths there in 5 years, including three in one apartment. That place is cursed...

I was tired of not getting any help after living there for 4 yesrs. They use the money to hire more employees and continue to let down the residents by not enforcing the rules and laws. It is being run like a prison. I worked in a prison in Edmonton. I didn't want to live in one too. The bullding is also infested with bedbugs, cockroaches, etc...


I finally received a settlement for my military injuries from 2001, but then it was taken away from me because I was too busy volunteering for Mona Fortiers reelection campaign as well as for OIM looking fir homeless veterans in downtown Ottawa.

I am hoping to make as much cash as soon as possible to be able to move out of my motel room into a new apartment of my own this summer.
