Job description:
We are a growing transportation and logistics company seeking a skilled and reliable Truck & Reefer Mechanic to join our team. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe, efficient fleet and delivering top-quality service to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and trailers
Service and repair refrigeration units (Thermo King, Carrier, etc.)
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience as a truck and/or reefer mechanic
Knowledge of diesel engines, brake systems, and trailer components
Experience with refrigeration units is a strong asset
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Valid driver’s license (AZ/DZ license is an asset)
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
