Farm Labourers needed for a ginseng operation. No formal education, degree or certificate is required. Must have your own transportation for travelling to farms throughout Norfolk and Elgin Counties. Physically demanding work in all weather conditions, 40 - 60 hours per week including weekends and holidays. Experience is an asset but not required as we will train. Having a positive attitude rain or shine and being physically fit is essential. Job duties include: Installing and dismantling shade, installing irrigation pipe, frost cover, erect structures, weeding, cutting grass, harvest ginseng root, which includes processing, grading, washing, packing and storing. You will be required to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks, as well as sitting, crouching, kneeling and/or standing for extended periods of time. Wage: $17.60/hour.
