* Live-In PSW Requirement – Woodbridge *
We are urgently hiring a Live-In Personal Support Worker (PSW) for a private home in Woodbridge, ON.

* Location*
Woodbridge, ON,

* Schedule (Live-In)*
* Start: Monday at 9:00 AM
* End: Friday (up to 5:00 PM, may leave earlier if duties are completed)
* Type: Live-in (Monday–Friday)
* Accommodation: Private master bedroom with attached washroom
* Food: PSW must bring their own meals

*‍⚕️ Client Overview*
*Father:*
* Recently discharged from hospital
* History of seizures
* Difficulty swallowing (high choking risk)
* Underweight and physically fragile
* Mostly bed/chair-bound
* Supported by physiotherapist

*Mother:*
* Requires general assistance and supervision

*Language:*
* Both clients speak Italian (limited English)

*⚠️ Mandatory Requirements*
* Valid PSW Certification
* CPR Certified (hands-on choking response required)
* Strong experience with:
* Seizure care
* Elderly/high-risk patients
* Feeding and swallowing support

*Comfortable with:*
* Medication administration
* Lifting and mobility assistance
* Physically strong and capable
* Confident, assertive, and able to handle emergencies independently
* Reliable for live-in assignments

* Preferred Qualifications*
* Nursing background (strong asset)
* Experience in high-acuity home care
* Basic understanding of Italian (or similar language like Spanish)
* Female candidates preferred
* Filipino or Spanish background preferred (client comfort)

* Key Responsibilities*
* Full supervision and companionship
* Meal preparation (including special diets/smoothies)
* Light housekeeping
* Grocery shopping
* Accompanying clients to appointments
* Monitoring seizures and choking risks
* Ensuring timely medication administration

* Compensation*
* $220/day (Live-in flat rate)
* $1100/week (Mon–Fri)
* (Rate is tentative and will be confirmed after final assessment)
