Pest Control Technician (Structural Pesticide Applicator)

We are looking for a licensed Structural Pesticide Applicator who is confident working in a variety of environments and can represent the company professionally in both commercial and residential settings.

Schedule

Monday to Friday

Weekends and overtime as required


Key Responsibilities

Perform pest control services in commercial properties (offices, restaurants, retail, strata, industrial) and residential homes

Conduct thorough interior and exterior inspections

Identify pest species, activity levels, and contributing conditions

Implement treatment strategies using IPM principles

Service and maintain rodent control systems (traps, bait stations, exclusion recommendations)

Apply pesticides in accordance with BC regulations and label requirements

Complete detailed, professional service reports and recommendations

Communicate clearly with customers, property managers, and office staff

Manage and maintain an efficient daily route



Requirements

Valid Structural Pesticide Applicator License (BC)

Valid driver’s license with clean abstract

Clean criminal record check

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and stay organized

Physically capable of field work (lifting, crawling, ladders when required)



Preferred Experience

Commercial pest control accounts

Residential service experience (customer-facing)

Rodent control and exclusion work

Familiarity with IPM programs and reporting systems
