We are looking for a Sushi Assistant / Maki Man to join our small, friendly team at a take out sushi restaurant located in Vanier, Ottawa.

This is a family like environment where we value teamwork, respect, and a positive attitude. You don’t need to be a professional sushi chef, basic experience in sushi making is enough, and we’re happy to train the right person.

Position Details:
Part time / Full time (flexible)
Immediate start available
Competitive pay (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing sushi (maki rolls, basic prep)
Help with food preparation and kitchen organization
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
Support team during busy hours

Requirements:
Some experience in sushi making (preferred but not required)
Fast learner with a good attitude
Reliable and punctual
Able to work in a team
