We are currently looking for an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of trucks and trailers to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and fleet equipment
Inspect vehicles to identify mechanical issues and ensure roadworthiness
Diagnose and repair engine, brake, suspension, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Complete preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, greasing, and filter replacements
Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems
Maintain accurate service and repair records
Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and company standards
Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs when required
Keep the shop and work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a fleet mechanic or heavy-duty mechanic
Strong knowledge of truck and trailer systems
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems
Experience with preventative maintenance programs
Own tools are an asset
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
