Help Us Grow the Memorial Healing Forest
Description
Near Clavet, Saskatchewan, a living tribute is taking root—one that honours the legacy of the Humboldt Broncos and grows forward with hope, healing, and community care.
But this forest is not built by machines—it’s built by people like you.
We are inviting in-kind donations to help bring this space to life:
Tree saplings (native and climate-adapted) Do you have a volunteer in your yard?
Branches and logs (non-elm) for hugelkultur
Rocks and stones for moisture retention and protection
Leaves, grass clippings, and organic mulch
Manure and compost to rebuild healthy soil
️ Tools (shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, gloves)
Benches, picnic tables, or wood/sheds for gathering spaces
Every contribution becomes part of something larger:
Branches become water reservoirs.
Leaves become soil.
Rocks create shelter.
Trees become legacy.
This is how a forest—and a community—grows.
If you have materials to donate or want to get involved, we would love to hear from you. Together, we can create a place of remembrance, resilience, and renewal that will stand for generations.
