Glass Machine operator is needed
Description
The company in Concord which is dealing with doors and windows assembly is currently looking for a Glass Machine (Erdman Sealer) operater.
Location: HWY 407 and Keele
Shift: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Erdman Sealer and other assigned production machines
- Load raw materials and components into machines safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper application of hotmelt and sealing, including fully sealed corners with no voids
- Inspect units during and after processing to maintain quality standards
- Ensure SU units are assembled correctly and meet production requirements
- Identify and report any machine issues, defects, or process concerns immediately
- Support and guide helpers to ensure tasks are performed correctly and safely
- Ensure all work aligns with SOP requirements, especially for Glass Department materials
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of machines and work area
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as required
- Assist in maintaining production flow and meeting daily targets
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Ability to operate or learn industrial machinery
- Strong attention to detail and quality control focus
- Ability to identify defects and escalate issues promptly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
Pay rate: $19-$21
