As we continue to expand, we are looking for a reliable and motivated technician to join our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Mold & Asbestos Restoration Technician to assist in residential and commercial remediation projects. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and capable of working in controlled environments following strict safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mold remediation and asbestos abatement (Type 1, 2, and 3)
Set up and maintain containment areas (poly barriers, negative air units, decontamination units)
Safely remove contaminated materials (drywall, insulation, flooring, etc.)
Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and site protocols
Operate HEPA vacuums, air scrubbers, and other remediation equipment
Maintain clean and organized job sites
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Follow project scopes and timelines
Requirements
Experience in mold remediation and/or asbestos abatement preferred
Knowledge of Ontario Regulation 278/05 is an asset
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, confined spaces, attics, etc.)
Comfortable working in PPE (respirators, Tyvek suits, etc.)
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Assets (Not Required but Preferred)
Asbestos Worker Certification
Working at Heights Certification
Confined Space Training
Experience with demolition and restoration work
