Position Details:
• Position title: Farm Supervisor
• Vacancies: 1
• Status: Full-time, permanent
• Compensation: $28.00 per hour, 45-50 hours per week
• Benefits: performance-based bonus tied to productivity, leadership, and operational efficiency
• Shifts: Days, weekends, overtime available
• Language of work: English
• Anticipated start date: as soon as possible
• Location of work: in person at 84483 McNaught Line, Brussels, ON N0G 1H0
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate, assign, and supervise the work of contractual general farm workers.
• Plan work schedules and prioritize tasks to meet cropping timelines and production targets.
• Perform general farm duties including but not limited to stone and wood picking, brush collecting, weeding, driving tractor, operating equipment, and moving implements.
• Implement and monitor sustainable farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops.
• Support soil fertility and nutrient management programs in collaboration with farm management.
• Maintain basic production, safety, and operational records.
• Ensure farm safety and biosecurity procedures are followed and train contractual farm works on procedures.

Qualifications:
• Three (3) to five (5) years of crop farming experience including leadership and planning work schedules
• Completion of secondary (high) school is required
• Post‑secondary education such as a college diploma or certificate in agriculture or related field is considered an asset
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
• Demonstrated knowledge of crop production practices, farm equipment, and safe operation
• Valid driver’s license
