Are you handy, reliable, and looking for flexible contract work?
Courtice Home Health Care is looking for a dedicated Installer/Technician to help our clients maintain their independence. This is a per-job/on-call position, making it an ideal fit for independent contractors or those looking to supplement their income with meaningful work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Delivery & Setup: Transport and install hospital beds, wheelchairs, and other mobility equipment.
Safety First: Ensure all equipment is safely assembled and functioning perfectly in the client’s home.
Client Support: Provide brief, friendly instructions to clients and caregivers on how to use the equipment.
Maintenance: Perform minor on-site adjustments or troubleshooting as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
The "Handy" Factor: Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Experience: Previous experience with medical equipment is a huge plus, but we’re open to those with similar installation backgrounds (e.g., furniture, appliances).
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable lifting and maneuvering heavy equipment.
Reliability: You need a valid driver’s license and your own reliable transportation.
Personality: Compassionate, professional, and patient when working with seniors or those with mobility challenges.
Work Details:
Location: Serving Courtice and the surrounding Durham Region.
Type: On-call / Contract (Paid per job).
Flexibility: Great for those who manage their own schedule.
