Brahma Roosters

Description
These three beautiful boys are looking for new flocks. They’re Standard Brahmas and live up to their breed’s reputation; incredibly well mannered, easily getting along with each other, calm and gentle with people and other animals alike. They would be amazing assets in a backyard flock, on the show table, or under a 4-H’ers arm on the way through ProShow.

All three are a little under a foot tall and really are gentle giants as their breed is known for. In my many years of keeping Brahmas I’ve never had one who is aggressive, timid, or quick to fight, and these boys are no exception.

I took in these three and several others as the beginning of 2025. They were searching for a home, I was looking for some more Brahmas to add to my flock for breeding, and I came across an add for these guys who were in desperate need of some TLC. A year later and these boys have really grown into themselves from where they started.

Having watched them grow, mature, and learn for little over a year, I am confident that these boys would make fantastic additions to any flock and am excited to find them their perfect fit.

The first in the picture set, Melon, is what’s called a lemon brahma. While it’s not a professionally recognized colour, it’s widely popular for the bright gold plumage and white accents. It’s my favourite variety by far and Melon is a striking example. He has a quirky and fun personality that has been an absolute joy to get to know, and I’m sure he’ll bring just as many laughs to his new family as he’s brought to mine.

Next is James, a buff brahma. Buffs are a classic, and recognized, colour for the breed. They’re breath taking and James is no exception with a fantastic build and incredible plumage. He’s the biggest of the three with some growing still left to do, and I know he’ll be a fantastic addition to any flock big or small. This guy is always up for a challenge, quick to try new things, explore new places, and greet new birds. He’s a gem of a rooster and will make a massive impact in either a backyard flock or the show ring.

Partridge is last, and as his name suggests he is a blue partridge Brahma. This is also not a recognized colour and is an uncommon one to find, but a lot about Partridge isn’t common. He’s a mix, the smallest of the three, and incredibly sweet. He’s shy, curious, and inquisitive, and prefers hanging out with my bantams over birds his own size.
