Heavy Duty Mechanic – Full Time
Location: Virden, MB (Shop-based)
We are looking for a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at our shop in Virden, Manitoba.
If you enjoy working on a variety of heavy equipment, trucks, Directional Drills and machinery in a busy shop environment, this could be a great opportunity.
What You’ll Do:
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks, trailers, equipment, and Directional Drills
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, and more
• Work with hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop resources
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For:
• Red Seal or Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic certification (or equivalent experience/apprenticeship progress)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in oilfield, construction, trucking, or agricultural equipment is an asset
• Valid driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
• Reliable, safety-minded, and physically fit
